Just a suggestion but maybe it makes sense to make an option for a subscription option that goes straight to charity (perhaps for more than $8 because then you don’t get the benefit money).
I like it! It can't be automated via substack, which is another reason to slightly boost the price, but if anyone donates at least $100 in my name* to an effective charity (e.g. GiveWell; I'm also happy with any of the EA Funds), and emails me a copy or screenshot of the receipt, then I'll happily reward them with a complementary 1-year subscription
* = I add this part to avoid double-counting. The idea being that if you're independently committed to donating a certain amount to charity, this wouldn't count towards that -- it counts towards my total instead :-)
